Hillary meets the press: politico: Hillary Rodham Clinton admitted in a news conference Tuesday that it was a mistake to use a personal email account to conduct State Department business, but denied any wrongdoing even as she acknowledged that she no longer has thousands of emails she deemed private. “It would have been better had I used a second email account,” Clinton said, saying she had decided in 2008 before becoming secretary of state to use only one account “for convenience.” “Looking back, it would have been smarter to use two devices,” she said, insisting that she had sent all “work-related” emails to the State Department and hailing the department’s decision, announced Tuesday, to make them available online.
